Alpha CRC (www.alphacrc.com), a multinational Globalization Company headquartered in Cambridge, UK, is now looking for the following personnel for its new Shanghai office.
  i( Q* g. ~* V3 R) Y/ ^+ j' ^! }% ^8 {( c  c
Experienced technical and marketing translators, for translating and reviewing software and documentation, including marketing materials. Must have a minimum of 4 years technical translation experience, or a background in journalism, with knowledge or an interest in architecture or audio, video, film or music production, preferably with a knowledge of nonlinear editing methods. Must be assertive and have good understanding of language-specific issues. Good communication skills in English required.

F* K$ i4 u: TExperienced games translators able to translate everything in the context of games localization: in-game content (descriptions of background, worlds, locations, dialogues), character descriptions, player instructions, documentation, packaging, advertising materials, websites, newsletters, competitions, etc. * [6 G9 j! D* z4 B6 v& ]
Review translations of colleagues and externals, homogenize style. ) n) }- A) y* t% Q7 n
Create product-relevant style guides and glossaries. ) S5 {5 l5 a1 `- D. {& N( C* \
Provide feedback to translator teams.7 J: A; w7 r& Z, X4 H
Assess difficulties of specific texts, or sections./ S0 C7 v" e3 P" g, t( L
Must be assertive and have good understanding of language-specific issues. Good communication skills in English required.
