Alpha CRC (www.alphacrc.com), a multinational Globalization Company headquartered in Cambridge, UK, is now looking for the following personnel for its new Shanghai office.

: c; g( q* c" e1 ~( O3 ~Experienced technical and marketing translators, for translating and reviewing software and documentation, including marketing materials. Must have a minimum of 4 years technical translation experience, or a background in journalism, with knowledge or an interest in architecture or audio, video, film or music production, preferably with a knowledge of nonlinear editing methods. Must be assertive and have good understanding of language-specific issues. Good communication skills in English required.% c' I" ^6 W8 G5 }* B& p

Experienced games translators able to translate everything in the context of games localization: in-game content (descriptions of background, worlds, locations, dialogues), character descriptions, player instructions, documentation, packaging, advertising materials, websites, newsletters, competitions, etc.
# E3 N. ^) K5 c5 I0 C* f0 P6 mReview translations of colleagues and externals, homogenize style. % E  e% Q, ?- r5 J! d
Create product-relevant style guides and glossaries. ( @6 o' p- t# f/ {6 w. }2 b+ }
Provide feedback to translator teams.4 @# d$ b! q0 U# M$ `
Assess difficulties of specific texts, or sections.# t: f. u4 |) y1 F+ \
